PostSubject: TIME/TIME TRAVEL   Mon Feb 09, 2009 1:08 pm

During a meditation session in 1983, I centered myself in thought and intention to travel in time. I chose to go to the future.

At the time of my session, I was living in Oklahoma out in the country on dirt roads. My brother lived down the road from me 1 mile.

I flew out of my body went down the road flying 3 feet off the ground just past my brothers home and I saw an ambulance with the emergency lights flashing parked up close to his home. I then turned around and flew back to my body and entered.

1 month later my brother and his wife brought the wife's father to their home to live with them, as they did not think he had long to live.

One year after they brought him to their home, he had some physical attack on his health and they called the ambulance from the nearby town to come and get him. And the ambulance was exactly parked just as I had seen it a year before.

That was quite an experience, and it is very hard for me to get my little brain around the mechanics of such a thing.

I dunno

So I have a question? When I was down at their house as the medical emergency people were putting him in the ambulance, was I also flying by down the road, like I did a year earlier? fly-away

Hi zuni,

The father died a few days later unfortunately. There are some that believe if you fly in dreams like you have, that you may actually be astral traveling. I tend to believe that myself. That our dream lives are travels and adventures we all partake in.

It would not surprise me if the dreams we don't remember are the best ones.

I actually have not had any herb in over 3 years, LOL as I decided to stop using it because it seemed to dull my senses just a bit, and for the fact that I cannot afford it these days. weed-4

Gabriel there are so many paradoxes that come with time travel. It's possible you were flying down the road in a parallel universe. I have plenty of dreams where I'm flying about 3 feet from the ground too..it's always at this height!

Linear time is just an illusion anyway...space/time continuum is curved.

This from David Faige:

Space and time considered together as one entity.

It is well known that the space/time continuum is curved. The curvature occurs as a result of the influence of mass against movement in time. As three-dimensional beings, we perceive time only as a result of memory. We remember what was as a variable interval from what is now. If we had zero memory, we could not detect time - we would exist only for the moment. The result of this is our apparent perception of time as a linear line, always going forward.

This brings in the possibility of time travel. The idea is that once the problems are worked out and a means/mechanism/machine/modus for time transport is devised, said machine should then exist for all time. Putting it another way, if someone calculates the level of improbability of such a machine, feeds this calculation into a computer turns it on, the time machine is simply called into existence (as was the infinite improbability drive in Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams). Well, there is a problem with this. We can perceive only X, Y, Z, and T (where T is apparently a linear straight line). Whereas, the time travel means/mechanism/machine/modus would exist at Tx, Ty, Tz, X, Y, Z. We can not directly perceive of that machine, just the same as a two-dimensional being cannot directly perceive a three-dimensional object. The machine could already exist. There are two discernable possibilities here:

1. The machine could be perceived only at the moment it deposits an object into our current point in the space/time continuum. As the machine would have the ability to change its location directly from point A to point B in the space/time continuum, the machine may not have a sequential existence within our journey in the space/time continuum (here today, gone tomorrow).
2. The machine may already have portals (entry ways, access methods) into our dimension. However, since we do not have the reference points for Tx, Ty, and Tz, we would not realize the true purpose of the portals even though we could be standing right in the vicinity of them. Thus, for all we know, the Pyramids of Egypt could be time portals and we would not realize this until we work out Tx, Ty, and Tz.

The first attempt at time travel might be accomplished in a very small and controlled way. A magnet placed on a superconductor cooled with liquid nitrogen will float above the surface of the superconductor when it reaches its critical temperature. After placing this apparatus in a vacuum, the magnet could then be made to jump a few femtoseconds into the future. The magnet is not directly in contact with solid matter and the brief interval would reduce the position error from imprecise calculations of the curvature of space/time. As the intent would be to skip the magnet ahead briefly into the future, this would avoid the occurrence of paradox.

I think a nice bit of advice for working with temporal paradox comes from the fictional character of Captain Kathryn Janeway from Star Trek Voyager :)

"My advice when dealing with temporal paradox is dont"

Hi reunite,

Nice response. Very well said. I'll look at the video a little later.

Hi zuni, yes it seems that being without the influence of pot is better for the paranormal thing. And I think you are right on sister.

Hi anchor, I loved that episode of Star Trek, one of my favorites. I am one that for the most part hardly ever watch The boob tube, but i have enjoyed the star trek episodes through the years.

And like janeway, it is hard to get my mind around. LOL

Hi stal,

Yes it is interesting indeed. Some believe that dreams are actually real experiences happening in the other dimensions/densities.

I for one believe that way about dreams.

I think the dreams are exploits we do while we sleep, but they are more real than our illusion here in the third dimension.

Glad you shared you dream of flying, keep it up and keep us posted.

i feel pretty much the same way about 'dreams'. not the 'going to work in the nude' type dream, but the other type.

11-24-09 on Coast to Coast A.M.

Hypnosis expert Dr. Bruce Goldberg discussed reincarnation, spiritual evolution, and parallel universes, as well as how we can all travel to other dimensions via out-of-body experiences and teleportation.

The typical person, he said, has experienced around 1,000 lives in addition to existences in parallel realms. In such parallel worlds, the person and environment may look the same but events play out differently-- he cited one patient's hypnosis report of a realm in which an ongoing nuclear war began in 1988. Goldberg outlined a paradigm of 13 different planes or dimensions which included the lower Astral Realm-- a foggy environment with bizarre inhabitants, the Causal plane where the Akashic Records are stored, and the Mental Plane containing iridescent blue highways.

The other dimensions vibrate at a higher frequency, and that is why they are invisible to us, Goldberg explained, as he offered techniques on how to access these realms, which included rhythmic deep breathing. He also described incidents of teleportation, in which a person has instantly transported their physical body to another location. One such case was said to occur in 1593, to Gil Perez, a Spanish guard in Manila who suddenly found himself in Mexico City. Another incident, he recounted, was that of a doctor and his wife traveling by car in Argentina in 1968. They, but not their driver, were engulfed in a dense fog, and then found themselves in Mexico.

Teleportation and out-of-body experiences are safe, said Goldberg, who added that the greatest threat to our safety comes from the neglect of spiritual forces. The many distractions in life keep people from rejoining their higher self, and attaining a state of ascension which could eliminate the need to keep reincarnating, he commented. For more, see the additional material he provided below.
