I just got a letter from shepherds Chapel that my mentor and friend Pastor Arnold Murry has passed away. Apparently he passed away sometime in the last week. I am going to attend shepherds Chapel passover meeting April 5th and the 6th in Rogers Arkansas. this meeting has been scheduled for several months and the meeting will not be canceled due to pastor Murrys death, as there is always over a thousand people at these meetings and people come from all over the United States for these meetings, as it is the passover meetings and everyone partakes of the Lords Table, the communion at this meeting.
I will miss Pastor Murry as will the Body Of Christ miss him, in my opinion he was the best Bible teacher in the world without a doubt. Pastor Murray lost his beloved wife 2 years ago, and since then he has slowly gotten older looking right before our eyes in a short 2 year period and you could tell by observation that after his beloved wife died his life was never the same again.
this happens often, when a wife or husband dies it is not long until the other person dies as well. My wonderful Grandparents are an example of this, they were married at the age of 16 and 17, stayed married all their lives, when my grandmother died at age 85, my Grandfather died one year later.
when you lose someone that is a very part of you such as a wife or a husband, it is not long usually before you also give up the Spirit and leave this world.
those lifelong connections are real and dramatic within the lives of many people and today I am both happy and sad at Pastor Murrys departure.
